Okay, so no sketch or painting this week. So anyway here is something I clicked.

Isabella's gaze

Although I was not expecting it to turn up this way, I am still happy with how it turned out.

As soon as I looked at the finished product, it reminded me of Isabelle of Paradise kiss and that is how it came to be named as Isabella's gaze.

Unexpected results are not always pleasant, but you learn to work with the out come and sometimes the outcome is much more splendid than you imagined it. Life always knows how to beat you at your own game :P.  So working hard and then going with the flow seems just about the right approach to tackle life. Then again we can never be too sure ;)

This is basically my wish, except I depicted a hot anime guy doing what I want to do.
A lazy spring day among gorgeous Sakura in full bloom! Just lost in thought and serene beauty of nature.

Dont worry, just let the music heal you

I just wanted to share a song I love and was listening to this afternoon

Nothing gets imagination running like music you like, something that resonates with your heart and mind.

Most of time my problem in life is, that a lot of thoughts run at me from every which direction possible and filtering them all out seems like a challenge. Music comes to rescue sometimes, calms down the mind, pleads it to think of one thing, just one things that mattered the most at this moment.

Nature is a beauty that holds infinite inspiration for a thirsty mind. Even the harshest things in life have beauty hidden. A wilting dry leaf or a wilting old flower tell us the story of their life.

Age represents wisdom, wisdom in today's world seem rare for the most unfortunate reasons.

Many people feel old in life and not really wise, holding on to the memories of youth. Age  should complement our mind with its wisdom or at least that is what I hope for when I grow old.

"Ageing gracefully" as they say is easier said than done.

More than that, the stories that are interpreted by the person who views and art is what makes it lively and beautiful.

Tools Used: Water colors and fiber tip pen.
Time: 4 hour 30 mins
So this my interpretation of  Rurouni Kenshin. Working on getting the intensity in to a drawing.

Lee Taemin

Phase 1 & Phase 2 of Lee Taemin: I made minor adjustments (refer 2nd pic) and that is how it looks currently: I'll let you decide which one looked cuter.

Time: Close to 3 hours with the occasional breaks and all.

So today afternoon post lunch I was curled up with my laptop, sipping awesome tea, watching random videos on YouTube and then there was this video of Taemin and I suddenly felt like sketching him ( Lee Taemin belongs to a S.Korean contemporary band SHINee). It's not like I dint try to sketch him before and fail miserably, but this time was different. Instead of copying a picture and trying to sketch him, I imagined his face, so the hair and everything else is an amalgam of all avatars of Taemin.

Over all really happy with the out come cause it actually looks like him.

Even if you do not know who Lee Taemin is... no problem.
